The Home Buying Process

Congratulations! You’ve decided to purchase a home. This is a very exciting time for you and we look forward to guiding you smoothly through the process, helping you to efficiently find the home of your dreams.

Set Your Price Range & Get a Mortgage Pre-Approval

The first step is to find out what you can afford and/or what you feel comfortable spending. If you are financing a home, you will need to get pre-approved for a mortgage. We can give you the names of several lenders to choose from that we have successfully partnered with in the past if you are not already working with one.

Visit Multiple Properties

After getting pre-approval from the lender (if you are not paying cash), we will meet to discuss what you would like in your new home. Once we enter your criteria into our Multiple Listing Service, it will allow us to view several properties online and you will select which homes you would like to view in person.

Make an Offer

After you find your awesome home, we will do a Competitive Market Analysis and we will decide on an offer price. After a purchase price is agreed upon with the Seller, you will submit Earnest Money to be held in escrow with the title company and make a formal loan application with the lender (if you are using one).

Schedule a Home Inspection & Make Repairs

We will schedule all inspections that you feel necessary. In addition to inspections, an appraisal and survey are ordered. When the repairs (if any) are completed and your loan has been approved, the title company will prepare closing documents.

Welcome to Your New Home!

Once papers are signed and the purchase gets funded and recorded, you will receive the keys and garage openers to you new home. It’s time to celebrate and let your happiness out!
